Teachers visiting "Me and My City" in Turku, a miniature town where 12 years old students spend a day as employees, citizens and consumers. Me and MyCity is a learning concept that deals with entrepreneurship, economy and society :

One of the companies is MumsDesign, combining Finnish design and traditional handcraft in developing countries.

....shopping time for the students:
On Wednesday morning the students - already organized into 4 teams (mixed - not country teams) got their challenge for the 24hours camp: Making the best business idea on how to handle /recycle waste from households. They will be working all night until 08.00 Thursday morning, then sleep some hours before presenting their project for a jury at 4 in the afternoon. Who will win?
